The RigDig Prospect Relationship Manager (PRM) was a new feature for our RigDig and EDA web app products.  The PRM gave our users the ability to use a lightweight CRM-like features within our products.  This enabled end-users to score leads and keep track of prospect interactions including email, phone and face-to-face meetings. Admin users could also send curated lead lists to sales reps and keep track of monthly, weekly and daily tasks accomplished by each rep.       

As a result user interviews my team realized that additional functionality was needed that we didn't consider in the initial brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions with internal stakeholders.  For instance administrative users were very interested in the ability to share prospect lead information with new employees and other sales professionals. We also that the administrative user wants to see aggregate numbers for their sales representatives and see if they are making enough phone calls, emails, meetings and follow ups.  A final piece of insight came after a focus group session.  A significant number of clients already had a CRM system and wanted a way to integrate the PRM data into their existing CRM.
