AI in the industrial and health tech world
Industrial and healthcare environments generate immense data from connected sensors, controllers, and maintenance systems. However, operators, technicians, and safety engineers often struggle to synthesize this information quickly enough to make high-impact safety and operational decisions.
Honeywell sought to leverage AI and generative technologies to:
• Reduce cognitive load for users
• Enable predictive maintenance and real-time decision support
• Democratize data visualization and analytics
• Integrate modern AI tooling into legacy software workflows

I worked on projects that incorporated generative AI into a variety of industrial and healthcare projects.  
AI insights in semiconductor gas detection
For the Vertex touchscreen design I created  appearance modes, accessibility layers for industrial visibility. Work included: 
    •    AI Assist & Analytics - introduced Vertex Assist to interpret diagnostics, summarize performance, and guide next actions 
    •    Innovative Wizards - designed guided workflows for pump maintenance, optics calibration, and chemcassette replacement
    •    AI Insights Integration - displayed natural-language summaries of system health and fault causes in real time
Enterprise Safety Platform and AI
Goal: Enable fleet-wide visibility, predictive safety insights, and customizable AI visuals. Work included:​​​​​​​
    •    Dashboards and Hubs - Built multi-level navigation for sites, workers, and devices 
    •    AI Recommendations - Contextual insights for maintenance and compliance actions 
    •    User-Generated Visuals - Designed natural-language and prompt-based generation of charts and insights
    •    Maintenance Assist - Proactive AI diagnostics and recommendations on how to fix issues for novice users
